Kathleen W. Crawford, 99 years of Peebles, died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at her residence.
She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on May 12, 1907 the daughter of the late George and Sarah Childress Whitaker.
She was a member of the Peebles United Methodist Church and the Peebles Magazine Club.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Crawford, who passed away in July, 1972, and son, James W. Crawford, who passed away in January, 1957.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane McAdow of Peebles, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church with Steve Zinser and Robert Mussman officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
