Kathleen E. Murphy, 94 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday September 18, 2015 at Crestwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Highland County, OH on April 21, 1921, the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Gilmore) Arnett. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Cecil Murphy, one daughter Donna Reno, one son Gifford Murphy, one grandson Matthew Murphy, and one sister Norma King.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons Kenneth (Kathy) Murphy of Hillsboro, Wayne (Mary Ann) Murphy of Hillsboro, two daughters, Patricia Evans of Hillsboro and Ramona Willis of Tennessee, daughter-in-law Amanda Murphy of Hillsboro, 15 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday September 21, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Monday September 21, 2015.
Family requests that memorials be made to The Highland County Humane Society 9331 St. Rt. 124 Hillsboro, OH, 45133.
