Kathryn Gibson, 71 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at her residence.
She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on February 4, 1933 the daughter of the late Elliott and Ida Conley Gibson.
She was a nurse?s aide.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Chris Gibson of Leesburg, Newt and Mel Gibson of Hillsboro, Ernie and Donna Gibson of Peebles, Chub Gibson of Waverly, Steve Gibson of Hillsboro, five daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn Chambers of Hillsboro, Tina Crago of Peebles, Diane and Kevin Chambers of Hillsboro, Midge and Sam Gammon of Peebles, Kathy and Larry Lucas of Hillsboro, brother, Raliegh Gibson of Chillicothe, sister, Emma Murphy of Hillsboro, twenty-nine grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Carmel Cemetery with Nick Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Carmel Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
