Kathryn Elizabeth Penquite

Kathryn Elizabeth Penquite, 96 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born in Hillsboro on December 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Harry David and Mabel (Lemon) Penquite; she is also preceded by her sister, Harriett Penquite Farquhar.
Kathryn was a member of the Hillsboro 1st Presbyterian Church, worked at the Penquite Grocery Store in Hillsboro and was a Pink Lady at the Highland District Hospital.
Kathryn is survived by her two nieces, Penny (Robert Littler) Farquhar of Glenwood Springs, CO, and Carlyn Farquhar of Denver, CO; one nephew, Pearce Littler of Glenwood Springs, CO and a close cousin, Carolann (David) Persohn of Cincinnati, OH.
Funeral Services will 2:30 P.M. Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Maurice Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
