Kathryn Shoemaker

Kathryn Shoemaker, age 87 of West Union, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on November 23, 1927 the daughter of the late Bruce and Ethel (Kerr) Campbell.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, one brother, and one sister.
Kathryn attended Dunkinsville United Methodist Church and was the church organist for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Luther Shoemaker of West Union; four sons, Dennis and Synda Shoemaker of West Union, Denver and Teressa Shoemaker of West Union, Mark and Terry Shoemaker of Peebles, and Kriss Shoemaker of Scioto County, Ohio; four daughters, Carolyn and Robert Crawford of Seaman, Debra and Mickey Miller of Winchester, Sue and Rick Fulton of Seaman, and Joyce and Tim Copas of Winchester; one sister, Olive McFarland of West Union; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Rev. Steve Darby officiating. Burial will follow in Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Dunkinsville United Methodist Church.
