Kathryn J. "Kathy" Howland, 57 years and Gary B. Howland, 61 years of Hillsboro,
died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.
Kathy was born at Jamestown, OH on December 8, 1954 the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Hattie Mae Lyons Wallace. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jamie Lee Jamison, two brothers, Tony and Eric Wallace, three brothers-in-law, Neal Bussell, Stefan Karnes and Duane Hoover.
Gary was born at Wilmington, OH on August 2, 1950 the son of the of late Melvin Leroy and Helen Marie Neff Howland. Beside his parents he is precede in death by one granddaughter, Jamie Lee Jamison, one brother Duane Hoover, four brothers-in-law, Neal Bussell, Stefan Karnes, Tony & Eric Wallace.
They were united in marriage on April 9, 1978
They were both members of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1161.
They are survived by three sons, Brett Brenda Howland of Hillsboro, Ronald E. Betty Jamison of Hillsboro, James Peggy Howland of Hillsboro; two daughters,
Kelly Craig Page of Peebles, Tina Kevin Meyer of Cincinnati;
Kathy is survived by four brothers, Don Kathy Wallace of Belfast, Ron Janine Wallace of Wilmington, Jeff Wallace of Peebles, Toby Terri Wallace of Peebles;
one sister, Linda Bussell of Hillsboro.
Gary is survived by one brother Jack Nancy Howland of Hillsboro; two sisters, Sandra Ray Ross of Hillsboro, Lisa Karnes of Peebles;
They are survived by ten grandchildren, Anthony W. Howland, James Howland, Eric Page, Jared Howland, Mariah Page, Tony Page, Sierra Jamison, Taj Meyer,
Spencer Meyer, Jacklyn Fite; four great grandchildren, Zoey Page, Riley Byers, Cameron "CB" Page, Kaiden Fite; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Eagle Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. followed by Funeral Service Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Inurnment of cremains will be held at the convenience of the family in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
