Fannie Kay "Katie" Heizer, 62 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday July 21, 2015 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Highland County on January 2, 1953, the daughter of the late Leslie Ison and Berchie (Perkins) Ison of Bainbridge. Besides her father she was also preceded by her sister, Janece L. Mustard.
Katie was a 1972 graduate of Greenfield McCain High School, member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ and the New Vienna United Methodist Church. She was a well known crafter who did ceramics, candle making and sewing.
Besides her mother, Fannie is survived by her husband Michael Heizer, whom were married on March 17, 1974; two sons & daughters-in-law, Jarod & Amber Heizer of Hillsboro, Brad & Crystal Heizer of Leesburg; two sisters, Jeanetta (Bill) Cox of Winchester, OH, Patricia (Greg) Bell of Winchester, KY, six grandchildren, Skylar (Kendra) Mills, Peyton Heizer, Braden Heizer, Ryan Heizer, Katelin Heizer and Kylie Heizer; and one great grandson, Nolan Mills.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with John Porter officiating.
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
