Kaye F. Purtee, 57 years of Seaman, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at the Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born in Paris, Kentucky on September 30 1943 the daughter of Charles and Marjorie Simms Holbrook.
She was a nurses aid at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Holbrook, one son, James C. Purtee, Jr., and one granddaughter, Desiree Nichole Purtee.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Holbrook of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Karl Smalley of West Union, Anita and Johnny Conley of Decatur, Indiana, five sisters, Charlene Purdin of Russellville, Connie Keller of Williamsburg, Sue Sheely of Peebles, Joyce Combuss of Indiana, Bonita McCleese of Peebles, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Dan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
