Kenneth M. "Ken" Chaney, 87 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2020.
He was born in Highland County on October 14, 1932, the son of the late Roy and Goldie (Caplinger) Chaney. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his wife, Geneva (Carmean) Chaney.
Ken served in the United States Army.
Ken is survived by his three sons, Kim (Shirley) Chaney of Hillsboro, Kent (Kathy) Chaney of Hillsboro and Terry (Cheryl) Chaney of Chillicothe, sister, Sue Bergen of California and step-granddaughter, Sheryl Mauer.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday January 14, 2020 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Market Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends can visit from 1:00 PM until time of services on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
