Kenneth D. Estle, 90 years of the Rainsboro Community, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2023.
He was born in Highland County on March 6, 1932, the son of the late Guy and Florence (Snyder) Estle. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his son, Terry Estle, daughter, Cindy Matthews, sister, Wilma O'Brien and brothers, Charles, Eugene, Gerald, Floyd, Donald and Johnnie Estle.
Kenneth served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict, was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Ohio Operations Engineers, a lifelong farmer and was a member of the American Legion Post #14 in Bainbridge.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Janet (Hixson) Estle, whom were married on July 14, 1954, grandson, Josh (Erin) Matthews of Leesburg, granddaughters, Tara (Todd) Campbell of Rainsboro, Jennifer (Nathan) Brown of Hillsboro and Samantha (Jeffery) Black of Rainsboro, great grandchildren, Grace, Zane, Joel, Gabriel and Claire Matthews, Coy, Luke and Ella Brown and Madison Campbell, two great great grandchildren, Cairo and Ora, brothers, Jim (Arleen) Estle of Hillsboro and David (Madge) Estle of Chillicothe, sister, Mary (Dale) Rhoads of Hillsboro, son-in-law, Rick (Kelly) Matthews of Rainsboro and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday January 14, 2023 at the Rainsboro United Methodist Church. Pastor Jamie Darling and Dr. Rev. Russell Clark will officiate services. Burial will follow at the Rhoads Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Marine Corps Funeral Honors and the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the church.
