Kenneth E. Fristoe, 75 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on June 4, 1927 the son of the late Edward and Martha Gore Fristoe.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ, the Peebles Masonic Lodge #581, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Eastern Star Chapter #396, and the American Legion Post #594. He worked as a lineman for the Columbus and Southern Power Company.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wava Fristoe, who passed away on May 13, 1986.
He is survived by his second wife, Norma Yazell Fristoe of Peebles, who he married on October 23, 1992, one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Stella Fristoe of Findlay, one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Hugh McGovney of West Union, five step children, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Bill Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
