Kenneth Howard Gardner, 87 years of Winchester, passed away peacefully, at his home on June 25, 2022.
Born June 20,1935 to Tassel and Lottie Gardner, Kenneth was the youngest of 6 children and the last surviving member from this family.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie (Newman) Gardner whom he married on November 29, 1952 in West Union, Ohio. Kenneth and Rose raised 6 children, Lawanda (John) Carrell, Kenneth Jr. (Linda) Gardner, Connie Gardner, Donna (Charley) Bryan, Cindy Gardner, and Kelly (Ken) Gardner.
Kenneth had 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Jamie, Stephanie, and Heather. Kenneth was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren.
Kenneth was retired from the Baptist minister who spent over 57 years preaching the gospel of God's wonderful Love and Mercy.
Kenneth and Rose frequently attended Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Orab. He also worked as a carpenter for over 30 years to support his family. He enjoyed many things in his leisure time, including wood working, spending time with his family and farming. Frequently he would be heard singing joyous songs from times gone by. Another one of Kenneth's many talents was to always have a joke for any occasion and for anyone willing to listen. He loved to laugh and said life was "too short" and to "always remember what matters most."
