He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on June 27, 1956 the son of the late John Countryman.
He is survived by his mother Gertrude Douglas Countryman of Peebles, wife Patricia Straight Countryman of Peebles, son Chad Countryman of Dayton, step son Jon Straight of Peebles, five brothers; John Countryman of Wilmington, Charles Countryman of Peebles, Gary Countryman of Dayton, Neil Countryman of Chillicothe, and Paul Countryman of Peebles, and two sisters; Joy of Peebles and Julia at home.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Locust Grove Cemetery; the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles
