Krell W. Kidd, 88 years of Okeechobee, FL, formally of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the Longwood Medical Center in Florida.
He was born in Highland County, Ohio on July 3, 1919 the son of the late Lewis and Olive Wilkin Kidd.
He was a US Air Borne Veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. He retired in 1983 from South Central Power. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, lifetime member of the Hillsboro VFW Post #9094, and the Hillsboro Elks Lodge.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Kidd, one brother, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Linda L. McGrew Kidd, son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Wanda Kidd of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Kim and Carol, and three great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at Barnes Cemetery in Hillsboro, burial will follow with military services conducted my the Highland County Honor Guard.
