Larry Michael ? Mike? Bender, 47 of Hillsboro, died Friday, June 23, 2006.
He was born at Columbus, Ohio on September 26, 1958 the son of Eunice ?Planck? Grisham and Larry Earl Bender.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lona and Thornton Planck , paternal grandfather Earl Bender, paternal great grandfather Howard E. Bender, step grandfather Paul S. Grisham.
He is survived by his mother and step father Eunice ?Planck? and Paul Eugene Grisham of Hillsboro, father, Larry Earl Bender of Umitilla, Florida, step grandmother Maxine Grisham of Sardinia, one daughter Mandy Trent of Hillsboro, four sons, Jeremy P. Bender of Greenfield, Christopher Heather Bender of Greenfield, Joseph Bender of Bainbridge, Alan Michael Bender of Independence of Missouri, one step daughter, Amy Thomas of Hillsboro, one step son, David Crank of Greenfield, three brothers, Tony Bender of Hillsboro, Steven Patty Bender of Mowrystown, David Rachel Grisham of Sardinia, two sisters, Penny Greg Waits of Wilmington, Crystal Alexander of Hillsboro, nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mike was employed at Eagle Coach in Amelia. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fincastle Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
