Larry Mclaughlin

Larry D. McLaughlin, 70 years of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday June 26, 2021.
Larry was born April 21, 1951 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Doyle A. and Mary Helen (Thompson) McLaughlin. Besides his parents his sister, Marcella Grooms, also precedes him.
Larry was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in 1969. He was a member of the Ohio National Guards. Larry was a tool and die maker at Huhtamaki and retired after 36 years. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball.
Larry is survived by his wife, Dianne (Edison) McLaughlin, which were married on September 4, 1970. He is also survived by his sons, Shawn (Christy) McLaughlin of Hillsboro and Chad McLaughlin of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Jared (Savannah) McLaughlin and Taylor (Brent) Cox, great grandsons, Landen and Benry McLaughlin, mother-in-law, Phyllis Edison Garland of Hillsboro, and brothers-in-law, Kenneth S. Grooms, Rick Edison and Steve Edison.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday July 2, 2021 at Hillsboro Cemetery. Dr. Pastor Dan Lamb will officiate service.
