Larry Watson

September 4, 1954 — March 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry J. Watson, a beloved member of our community, who departed this life on March 12, 2025, at the age of 70. Larry was born in Georgetown, Ohio, on September 4, 1954, and spent his life in the Blanchester area, where he touched countless lives with his warm personality and passion for life. Larry is preceded by his parents, Floyd and Anna Watson, brother, Bill Watson and sisters, Patricia Manning, Carol Dunsieth and Delores Beatty.

Larry's dedication and work ethic were evident in his 42 years at Huhtamaki, where he earned the affectionate nickname "Cowboy." He approached every challenge with a spirit of camaraderie and resilience. Outside of work, Larry was known for his love of cornhole, and tractor pulls, activities that brought him joy and connected him with friends and family. A proud member of the Hillsboro Eagles, he enjoyed the fellowship and fun that came with being part of this community organization. Larry also had a deep appreciation for Chevy trucks, which he often showcased proudly.

Larry is survived by his brother, Anthony Watson, sisters, Helen Bohl and Brina Dunsieth and several nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of kindness, laughter, and passion for life.
