Laurel Johnson, 84 of Hillsboro, died Sunday, November 25, 2001 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born at Wooster, OH on July 12, 1917 the daughter of Carl M. and Laurel Kirkpatrick Timmons.
She was a member of the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church, Mo-Ser-Gi, Hillsboro
#441 OES, Hillsboro Emblem Club and had been a Pink Lady at the Hospital for several years.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank E. ?Scooch? Johnson on December 28, 1980, two grandchildren and three brothers.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Michael and Jane Johnson of Hillsboro, Frank E. and Donna Jean Johnson Jr. of Galloway, OH, two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Sue and James Ferrell of Hillsboro, Anita Virginia ?Ginny? and John Graff of Bowling Green, KY, thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. James Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. till 8;00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
