LaWanda Grace Fenton, 87 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, August 23, 2001 at the
Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Winchester, Ohio on January 12, 1914 the daughter of the late Lester and Gracie Foster Jandis.
She was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Nelson Fenton, who passed away January 2, 1953, one brother, and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and James Achor of Hillsboro, Mitzi and Marvin Wilson of Hillsboro, brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Nedra Jandis of Hillsboro, sister, Maunia Hare of Portsmouth, four grandchildren, Teresa Jeff Metzger of Cincinnati, Mark Alice Wilson of Hillsboro, Kimberly Neil Miller of Hillsboro, Kathy Larry Phillips of Maysville, Kentucky, and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Jeff Metzger officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
