Lawerance Ward, 84 years of Rarden, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born in Rarden, Ohio on February 23, 1919 the son of the late Sullivan and Bessie Davis Ward.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Alexander Ward on September 3, 1988, and one son, Paul Ward.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Janet Ward of Elm Grove, one daughter, Louise Mitchell of Florida, one sister, Edna Osborne of Waverly, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Union Hill Church. Burial will follow in the Harmon Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Union Hill Church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
