Lawrence E. "ET" Throckmorton, age 69 of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Greenfield..
He was born at Hillsboro, OH on August 25, 1941 the son of the late Joseph R. and Mae Crabtree Throckmorton.
He served in the National Guard and Army Reserve and was a Carpenter Contractor.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers Joseph, Sonny, Vickey Herb, Don Throckmorton, four sisters, Vivian Mosley, Lou Hurt, Imogene Oppy and Barbara Page
He is survived by three sons, Lawrence E. Throckmorton Jr. of Luckey, Richard O. Throckmorton of Russellville, Brian Keith Thockmorton of Luckey, one daughter, Kimberly Sue Throckmorton of Luckey, four step sons, Ronnie Dillow, Jim Dillow, Shane Cordy, Nick Cordy, five step daughters, Betty Dillow of West Virginia, Regina Roberts, Monica Roberts, Kerry Roberts, Angela Cordy, three brothers, Gary Throckmorton of Greenfield, Tom Throckmorton of Samantha, Dave Throckmorton of Lucasville, 16 grandchildren and over two hundred nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial will follow on the family farm with Military graveside rites by the Highland County Honor Guard
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 noon till time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
