Lelia M. Tommi Adams, 82 years of Highland, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at her residence.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on September 27, 1919 the daughter of the late Jesse G. and Besse Cameron Patton.
She was the former Assistant Post Mistress at Highland.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Adams, who passed away on March 15, 1992, one brother, Frank Bud Patton, and one sister, Helen Grover.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Janet Adams of Wilmington, daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Beth and Robert Zenk of Littleton, Colorado, Mary and Ed Current of Beaver Creek, Frances and Ferruh Layman of Sarasota, Florida, sisters, Mildred Uhrig of Hillsboro, Pauline Wilson of Hillsboro, sister-in-law, Eileen Patton of Hillsboro, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Highland Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the donor?s favorite charity.
