Leonard E. Becraft. 49 years of Peebles, died Saturday, July 28, 2001 at his residence.
He was born in Martinsville, IN, on November 11, 1951 the son of Charles W. and Martha Weaver Becraft.
He attended the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union and was employed at Candle-lite at Leesburg.
Beside his father he was preceded in death by one daughter,Christine Becraft.
He is survived by his wife Susan Newman Becraft whom he married on May 19, 1995, mother Martha Becraft of West Union, two sons, Leonard Becraft Jr. of Sugartree Ridge, William Becraft of Michigan, one step-son Michael McCleese of Peebles, two daughters, Amy Gilpin of Amelia, Amanda Becraft of Peebles, two brothers, Chuck Becraft of West Union, Glen Becraft of West Union and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Rev. Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. till service time at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
