Lester Thompson, 90 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Hospice of Blue Ash.
He was born at Rowan County, KY on November 12, 1921 the son of the late Lowell and Rena Roberts Thompson. He was united in marriage to Naomi Hall on January 6, 1943 who preceded him in death on November 26, 2005, also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He retired in 1971 from the Bill Minnielli Construction Company in Fairfield, was an avid Gardner, expert Mechanic, Carpenter and a friend to all.
He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Nelson and Pam Thompson of Hillsboro, Roger and Jerri Thompson of Hillsboro, two daughters and sons in law;
Mary and Jerry Patton of Brecksville, OH, Janet and Nelson Dotson of Seaman,
Four sisters, Mayme McDonald of IN, Gracie Darrah of IN, Annie Logan of KY, Nellie Johnson of Ky. 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Dotson officiating. Burial will follow In the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home
