Linda M. Harrington, a beloved mother and dedicated caregiver, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2024. She was born on May 26, 1955, in Greenfield, Ohio, Linda was a cherished member of her community. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Betty Jean (McCarty) Brown. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her husband, Tommy G. Harrington, son, Tommy Harrington and six brothers, Donald, Jack, Jim, Richard, Estel and Tom Brown.
Although Linda faced many challenges throughout her life, she always remained strong and resilient. She epitomized perseverance by taking on the role of a caregiver, devoting herself to the well-being of her family. Her unwavering love and dedication were evident in the way she cared for her children, Shelly (Tim) Cole of Hillsboro and Bobby (Erika) Harrington of Hillsboro and grandchildren, Bella, Bentley and Olivia.
Linda's journey in life took her through various endeavors, and she spent a significant part of her career working in the factory industry, specifically in an airborne capacity. Her determination and work ethic were apparent to all who knew her. She approached her work with diligence and made lasting impressions on those around her.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Linda valued her family above all else. As a mother, she showered her children, Shelly and Bobby, with affection and support, creating a strong bond that will endure beyond her passing. Linda's caregiving extended beyond her own family, as she reached out to others in need and touched the lives of those around her.
Linda's spirit of strength and resilience will forever be remembered by those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren and peers, who cherishes the memories they shared together. Linda's presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew her.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM on Friday January 26, 2024 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Hillsboro.
