**Obituary for Linda Sue Kemp**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Kemp, who left us peacefully on February 13, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on May 11, 1964, in West Union, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond McClanahan and Sandra Jean (Riggs) Parks of Hillsboro. Linda was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.

Linda was the kind of person who always put others first. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ronald Kemp (Thank God for Ron), who were married on January 12, 2008, and a loving mother to her children, Elizabeth (Zac) McBride, Robert McBride III, Patrick Kemp (deceased), Jason Kemp, and Travis Berger. Linda's life was beautifully enriched by her roles as a daughter to her mother, Sandra Parks, and step-father, Herbert Parks, and as a sister to her beloved sibling, Melissa "Sam" Saunders, step-sister, Gina (Russell) Strickland, step-brother, Neil (Teresa) Parks and adoptive father, Carroll (Ruth) Saunders. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to Alexis, Cheyenne, Christain, Robbie, Ryder, Gavin and Nathan and her family always knew her as a nurturing and doting presence in their lives.

Linda had a passion for puzzles and could frequently be found challenging her family to friendly games of Scrabble. Her laughter and warmth will be sorely missed by friends and family alike.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the donor's favorite charity.

Rest in peace, sweet Linda. Your kindness and love will live on in all of us.
