Linda Joy Powell 65 years of Hillsboro, died Friday October 19, 2012 at the Highland District Hospital,
She was born at Cincinnati on January 18, 1947 the daughter of the Late Charles Longworth and Rosa Murray Metz of Texas. Beside her father she is preceded in death by one brother, Paul Longworth.
Beside her mother she is survived by her husband Ermon Monk Powell of Hillsboro, two sons, Kirk Paula Smith of Morrow, Jeff Cindy Powell of West Chester; two daughters, Lisa Malas of Alexandria, KY, Joy Lobaugh of Mason;
Four brothers, Phillip Longworth of Fairfield, Pete Longworth of TX, Michael Longworth of Ft. Wayne; three sisters, Rhonda Napier of Mason, Myra Palazio of KY, Portia Koekle of West Chester; eleven grandchildren, Andrew, Mathew, Nicholas, Daniel, Christopher, Hazel, Miranda, Jake & Kelly, Nate & Carly Powell and two great grandchildren, Aubrey Marie & Jace Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Clarence Smith Officiating.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 PM till time of service at 7:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
