Lizzie Myers, 82 years of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Halo, Kentucky on September 14, 1926 the daughter of the late Felix and Luesendie Cook Collins.
Lizzie attended the Frog Hollow Church.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Myers of Peebles, whom she married on March 7, 1953, daughter and son-in-law Julie and Steve Hayslip of Peebles, five sisters; Mary Collins of West Union, Alleane White of West Union, Connie Kiser of Kentucky, Della Crabtree of Lucasville, and Liza Johnson of Kentucky, and two grandchildren; Thomas and Luesendie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with John Niswander and Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
