Lloyd Walker West

Lloyd Walker West, 93 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, February 21, 2009.
Lloyd was born August 9, 1915 at Berrysville, Ohio, the son of the late Overton Price and Lillian Walker West. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Malinda Jane Young West on October 27, 1983; son-in-law, Rick Mason; brother, Lawrence "Mutt" West; two sisters, Louise West and Helen West Setty.
Lloyd was a lifelong farmer in the Berrysville Community, a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, an Army Veteran of W.W. II and a member of the DAV.
He is survived by son, Paul West of Lynchburg, OH.; daughter, Diane Kay Mason of Hillsboro, OH.; sister, Bea Stroup of Wilmington, OH.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Pastor Ken Woleab will officiate with military graveside services to follow at the Prospect Cemetery conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
