Lois Napier Hopkins Lowe, 68 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at the Salyer Adult Group Home.
She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on January 4, 1934 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Effie Napier Napier.
She was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church and the Highland County Senior Citizens. She was a realtor with Howard Real Estate in Milford. She was a tax preparer for H & R Block, Highland County Community Action H.E.A.P., and volunteer tax preparer for the Highland County Senior Citizens.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, A.C. and Frank Napier, one sister, Evelyn Napier, one grandson, Clinton P. Lowe III, and uncle and aunt, Frank and Ora Bowling, who raised her.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton P. and Rita Lowe of Hillsboro, John and Kay Lowe of Hillsboro, daughters and sons-in-law, Dianna and Carleton Curtis of Hillsboro, Cherri and Kelly Scott of Hillsboro, brothers, Alan Bowling of Independence, Kentucky, R.B. Bowling of Manchester, Kentucky, Kyle Bowling of Independence, Kentucky, sisters, Ollie Campbell of Austin, Indiana, Jessie and Everett Carr of Madisonville, Kentucky, half-brothers, Jerry DeHart of Austin, Indiana, Warren DeHart of Austin, Indiana, half-sister, Ruby Engleking of Austin, Indiana, grandchildren, Austin Lowe, Stephanie Hester, Candy Roberds Gray, Bill Roberds, Joshua Roberds, Cynthia Karnes, Jennifer Lynn Carrozza, James M. Scott, John M. Scott, and great grandchildren, Christopher, Becca, Lane, Adah Marie, and Zechariah.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Brother Jeff Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
