Lola Swayne, 90 years of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on September 6, 1918 the daughter of the late Floyd and Viola Eubanks Wallace.
Lola was a longtime member of the Maynard Avenue Methodist Church and also a member of the Eastern Star.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Swayne, who passed away on June 7, 2003.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jody and Dick Rolfe of Sabina, daughter Judy Lewis of Manchester, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
