Lonnie J. Carter, 57 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday April 4, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Cincinnati, on February 9, 1958, the son of the late Harvey and Betty Lou (Morgan) Carter. Besides his parents he was also preceded by two brothers, Tommy and Danny Carter, sister, Judy Carter and granddaughter, Dani Rae Carter.
Lonnie loved his family and took pride in his work.
Lonnie is survived by his wife Roberta L. (Stauss) Carter, whom were marred on January 27, 1989, four sons, Jeremy J. (Amanda) Carter of Hillsboro, James R. Stauss of Hillsboro, Lonnie R. (Shanna) Carter of Hillsboro and Richard N. (Melissa) Carter of Hillsboro, five daughters, Erin E. (David) Young of Hillsboro, Amanda V. (Hezery) Stauss of Hillsboro, Naikia C. (Heath) Tennant of Rainsboro, Rachel L. (Brandon) Carter of Hillsboro and Danielle M. Carter of Hillsboro, 18 grandchildren: Jacob Stauss, Heaven Stauss, Marissa Carter, Dylan Stauss, Zackery Carter, Kendyll Young, Nevaeh Roberts, Nicholas Taylor, Landon Carter, Brady Carter, Ileigha Young, Lilly Carter, Caleb Carter, Ryleigh Moore, Gabrial Moore, Laniyah Young, Lorinda Carter and Peyton Moore two brothers, Harvey (Geraldine) Carter of Sardinia and Jerry (Anita) Carter of Batavia, brother-in-law, Ron Harden, sister, Debbie (David) Rice of Williamsburg, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Ron Harden, Richard Stauss, James (Lucinda) Stauss, Dovie (Greg) Collins, Amanda Richmond, Frances (John) Welte, Mary (Charles) Thompson, Ellen Townsend, Margaret Neanover, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday April 8, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends may call at 11:00 A.M. unit time of service on Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
