Lorena Thompson

Lorena Thompson, 91 years of Batavia, formerly of Cherry Fork, died Friday, September 16, 2005 at the Clermont County Nursing Home.
She was born in Grange City, Kentucky on October 17, 1913 the daughter of the late James Oliver and America Jane Reed Jamison.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Raymond Thompson, one brother W. C. Jamison, and one sister Audria Snedegar.
Lorena was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ. She was also the membership drive leader for Adams County Farm Bureau, a Senior Citizen volunteer, and an Adams County Hospital volunteer.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Velma Jr. Boone of Batavia, Ohio, three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. One sister Ermal Pettit of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and two nieces and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Winchester Church of Christ in Winchester with Eldon Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Winchester Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made to the Winchester Church of Christ, Winchester Ohio, or the Wayne Township Fire Department.
