Lorene Hoop, 88 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Pike Community Hospital.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on January 13, 1923 the daughter of the late Ollie and Josephine Hackworth Hoop.
Lorene was a member of Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union and Venture Production.
She is survived by one brother; Paul Hoop of Peebles, two sisters; Norma Liles of Pickerington and Charlene Ison of Latham, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
