Louise Davis

Louise Davis, 96 years old, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2023.

She was born in Highland County on April 8, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Lewis) Morris, Sr. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her husband, Leo Davis on December 12, 2014, grandson, Eric Harrington, siblings, Virgil Morris, Frances Davis, Margaret Creamer, Charlotte Holt and John Morris, Jr. and son-in-laws, Lanny Bryant and Jim Williams.

Louise married the love of her life, Leo Davis, on October 16, 1948, was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ, was an amazing babysitter for several years and enjoyed baking and cooking.

Louise is survived by her by two sons, Roger (Bethanie) Davis of Tipp City, OH., Steven (Elaine) Davis of Moorefield, WV.; two daughters, Shirley Bryant of Blanchester, OH.,
Janet (Joel) Shultz of Wilmington, OH, 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, siblings, Franklin (Dorothy) Morris of FL, Freddie (Elaine) Morris of Hillsboro, Richard (Joyce) Morris of Hillsboro and Marie Tucker of Wilmington and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.


Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday July 3, 2023 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Barnes Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Donations can be made to the Allensburg Church of Christ or to the Hospice of Middletown.
