Louise Smalley, 87 years of Peebles, died Friday, February 8, 2002 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on December 17, 1914 the daughter of the late Frank and Grace Hoop Burgett.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Smalley, who passed away on January 26, 1998.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim Smalley of Winchester, Bill and Carol Smalley of Peebles, Larry and Patty Smalley of Seaman, daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Clarence Johnson of Peebles, Sandy Moore of Peebles, Grace and Rick Davis of Peebles, brother, Joe Burgett of Peebles, thirty-two grandchildren, and thirty-four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Linda Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 1 West McDonald Parkway, Maysville, KY 41056.
