LuAnne Holbrook, 86 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday April 21, 2021.
She was born in Lynchburg on June 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ruby (Martin) Stubbs. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her son, Jeff Holbrook and sister, Peggy Lyle.
LuAnne was a home maker and worked along side Laverne, on the farm. She was also a member of the Union Church of Christ and taught Sunday school, for many years, at the Hollowtown Church.
LuAnne is survived by her husband, Laverne Holbrook, they were married on June 8, 1952, daughter, Jeanie (Daryl) Fauber of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Jon (Jana) Holbrook of Lynchburg, Megan (Alan Blackburn) Brault of Lynchburg, Craig (Morgan) Fauber of Hillsboro and Kyle (Octavia) Fauber of Leesburg, great grandchildren, Madeline, Mason, Karsyn, Mallory, Carter, Kelley, Makenna, Miley, Claire and Oakley, brother, Charles Stubbs of Hillsboro, sister, Sandra Jones of Lynchburg and daughter-in-law, Kathy Holbrook of Lynchburg.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday April 28, 2021 at the Union Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the church.
