Lucille Bowman, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 20, 1917 the daughter of the late Elroy and Gertrude Lucy Robinson Jodrey.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leon Bowman, who passed away on February 28, 1986, one son, Leon Bowman, and three brothers, James, Alvin, and Harry Jodrey.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Helen Bowman of Cassville, Missouri, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Terry Rothwell of Hillsboro, daughter-in-law, Leona Bowman Curtis of Washington Court House, six grandchildren, Lisa Bowman, Lois Williams, Kevin Bowman, Dawn Luney, Chuck Bowman, Nyhla Rothwell, six great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Laura Jodrey of Georgetown, and special loved one, Josie Black.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Lafayette Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 61 E. Main Street, Wilmington, OH 45177.
