Lucille Roberts, 88 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky on April 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Everett G. and Locie Brown Scott. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oris Roberts on February 19, 1996; one son, Jerry Wayne Roberts; one granddaughter, Missy Adkins; two brothers, Amos Scott and Kenneth Scott.
Lucille was a member at Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church, worked at Burger Chef in Evandale for several years and retired from Standard Textile.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Rick White of Sardinia, one sister, Sally R. Wilson of Fairfield, four grandchildren, Jeff Kim Roberts, Steve Karly White, Karrie Joe Hames, Jerry "JT" Roberts and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M on Thursday March 14, 2013 at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating. Graveside service will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, OH.
Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of funeral arrangements.
