Lucy Ellen Bryson

Lucy Bryson, 93 years of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Laurels of Hillsboro.

She was born in Winchester, Ohio on February 23, 1918 the daughter of the late Hiram McDonald and Clara Handrehan Bryson.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Hudson Bryson and cousin Hilda Crigler.

Lucy attended Winchester United Methodist Church; she was a member of the Adams County Historical Society, D.A.R., 50 year member of O.E.S., U.S. Daughters of 1812, and Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

She is survived by her sister Florence E. Bryson of Winchester, and cousins Phyllis Mazzola of Lewis Center, Ohio, Gary and Brenda Crigler of Cincinnati, Cathy and Larry McGonegle of Cincinnati, and Marie Bryson and John Crimmins of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Winchester United Methodist Church with Rev. John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Winchester United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Winchester United Methodist Church.

Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
