Luke Scott, 20 years of Peebles, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010 in Afghanistan.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 30, 1990.
Luke was a Peebles High School Graduate of 2009 and was in the Marine Corps 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Reg.
He is survived by his father Kevin Scott of Peebles, mother Angie Scott of Peebles, one brother; Elijah Scott of Peebles, and two sisters; Molly and Megan Scott both of Peebles, paternal grandparents Ben and Carol Scott of Cincinnati, and maternal grandparents Melvin and Tamita Tipton of Peebles.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Peebles High School. The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Luke Scott Scholarship Funds C/O Peebles High School.
