Lyle Lambert, 82 years of Peebles, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 19, 1931 the son of the late Russell and Pearle Oriskel Lambert.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jayne Shafer Lambert.
Lyle attended Peebles United Methodist Church; he was also a Ham Radio Operator, a member of the N.R.A., and a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by one son, Marty Lambert of Hillsboro; one daughter, Karen Lambert of Peebles; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church with Steve Zinser officiating. Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
