Mabel F. Buntain, 95 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, August 11, 2003 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born in Highland County on September 15, 1907 the daughter of Harry and Rebecca Hixon Fenner.

She was a member of Dunn?s Chapel Church, DAR District 10, White Shine and Hillsboro Chapter #441 where she served as secretary for thirty years.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Buntain two sisters Gladys Fenner and Marie Haggerty.

She is survived by two nieces Susanne Phillip Gerard of Greenville, SC., Joanne Steve

Whitley of Hillsboro, three great nieces Amy Kent Willets of Chicago, IL, Emily Gerard of Greenville, SC, Lauren Whitley of Hillsboro and one great nephew, Steven Whitley of Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-

Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Ronald Slater officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday evening from 4:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home with Eastern Star Services at 7:00 P.M.

Memorials may be made the Dunn?s Chapel Church in care of Doris Younker, 5700 U. S. Rte. 50 W, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to the American Cancer Society, Ohio Div., 5378-A Cox Smith Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
