Madonna M. Smith, 90 years of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022.
Madonna was born September 25, 1931 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Jesse T. and Agnes B. (Stansberry) Murphy. Beside her parents, Madonna was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. "Pat" Smith; two sons, David Barrett Smith and Barry A. Smith; one brother, Allen Murphy.
Madonna was a member of the Marshall United Methodist Church; 1949 graduate of Hillsboro High School. Madonna received her L.P.N. from Fayette Memorial Hospital and worked several years for the Laurels of Hillsboro and Heartland of Hillsboro.
Madonna is survived by her daughter, Marty S. Clark of Westerville, OH.; four grandchildren, Hannah Harmon, Corrie (Justin) Tanous, Matthew Smith, Kelsey Clark (James Erlenbach; four great grandchildren, Will Harmon, Murphy Harmon, Casimir Tanous, Leah Madonna Tanous; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Burial will be held at the Convenience of the Family in the Marshal Cemetery.
