Marciano J. Flores, 81 years of Wilmington, died Tuesday April 2, 2013 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born April 21, 1931 in Pangasinan, Philippines, the son of the late Honorario and Nanang J. Flores. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Marciano was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, received a Bachelor's Degree and was a Master Electrician.
On October 8, 1954 he was united in marriage to Iluminada Estalilla "Lu Lu" Lastima Flores who survives. He is also survived by two sons and daughter -in-law, Samuel and Andrea Flores of Blanchester, OH., John Mark Flores of Wilmington, OH.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebekah M. and Rodney Z. Spears of Hillsboro, OH., Myra Lyn and Brent K. Spears of Lexington, KY.; eleven grandchildren, Rodney Spears II, Reyna Spears, Rowana Fisher, Ryan Spears, Josiah Spears, Karena Spears, Seth Spears, Jared Spears, Silas Spears, Samantha Flores, Spencer Flores; six great grandchildren, Rodney Spears III, Nathan Spears, Gregory Bohannon, Brycen Fisher, Cayden Fisher, Tommy Fisher; two sisters, Lorna Secillano and Teodorica Gulla; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, 55 Megan Drive, Wilmington, OH.. Pastor Kelly McInerney will officiate with burial to follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington.
The Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
