Margaret Ruth Hammons, 74 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Christ Hospital.
She was born in Freeland, PA on August 1, 1934 the daughter of the late Robert M. and Clara Ashman Faux.
Mrs. Hammons was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, was a Dietary Aide at Stouder Hospital in Troy, and served as council women for the city of Obetz.
She was united in marriage, April 9, 1955 to her husband Clinton M. Hammons who survives. Mrs. Hammons is also survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, James R. Hammons of New Carlisle, Oh, William S. Hammons of Oklahoma City, Ok, and Alvin S. and Jennifer Hammons of Ohio City, Oh, one daughter and son-in-law Ruth E. and George Gonzalez of Hillsboro, Oh, 11 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren and one sister and brother-in-law Emiline and Alvin Peterson of Oklahoma City, Ok.
According to Mrs. Hammons wish's she will be cremated.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arraignments.
