Marguerite Pat Heistand Lamb

Marguerite Pat Hiestand Lamb, 91 years of Jacksonville, Florida, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at home, surrended with love from her family.
She was born in HIllsboro, Oh. on October 7, 1917 the daughter of the late Clarence and Sara Perin Hiestand. The third of seven children, she grew up in Hillsboro with her brothers and sisters - John Hiestand, Helen Miller, Ruth Hiestand and Dorothy Sommers all deceased and Virginia Morrow and Daniel Hiestand surviving - and graduated from Hillsboro High School. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John D. Lamb.
She is survived by son David Lamb Myrna, of Blooming Glen, Pa., and daughters, Rita Takeuchi Stephenof Jacksonville, Fl., and Ruth Jordan Kevinof Cary N.C.; five grand children: James Takeuchi, Sara Takeuchi Pettit Grant, Alana Takeuchi, Rachel Jordan and David Jordan; and a number of neices and nephews.
She will be remembered with love for her sweet, kind, and giving nature.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 East Main St., in Hillsboro, OH., with Reverend Maurice G. Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday January 30, from 6:30 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
