Marie Lay, 88 years of Seaman, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 at Edgewood Manor.
She was born in Jellico, Tennessee on June 13, 1922 the daughter of the late Perry and Jennie Craft Brooks.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Timothy Lay, two sons; Hershel L. Lay and Johnny Lay, one brother, and five sisters.
She is survived by her niece Alice Brooks Norman of Jellico, Tennessee and many other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Valley View Cemetery in Jellico, Tennessee.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman 937-587-2500 is in charge of the arrangements.
