Marie Dorothy Lewis, age 81 of Seaman, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Anderson.
She was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on November 13, 1932 the daughter of the late Chester and Thelma Lewis McGuire.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Brown; five brothers and sisters; and one grandson.
She attended Mt. Orab Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Lewis of Seaman; two sons, James P. Lewis of Seaman and David S. Lewis of Cincinnati; three daughters, Pattie L. Shupert of West Union, Dorothy Hull of West Chester, Ohio, and Lori Allen of Las Cruces, New Mexico; one brother, Gary McGuire; three sisters, Pat Riley, Faye McGuire, and Georgia Dryden; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman. Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
