Mariellen Cluff, 69 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday May 28, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Greenfield on December 21, 1945, the daughter of the late William Dewitt and Elizabeth (Hamilton) Smith. Besides her parents she was preceded by 8 brothers and sisters.
Mariellen received her B.S., as an RN, at Springfield Community College, worked at Greenfield Rehabilitation Department for several years, retired from the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe and attended Fall Creek Friends Church.
Mariellen is survived by her husband, James Cluff, whom were married on January 23, 1970, two sons, James "Jim" (Amanda Howard) Cluff of Hillsboro and Jerry (Rachel) Cluff of Hillsboro, one daughter, Jennifer (John) Adams of Hillsboro and seven grandchildren; Tyler, Jacob, Caleb, Lane, Kathryn Cluff and Maverick and Matthew Adams.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery with Scott Lattimer officiating.
Friends may call at 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday May 29, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
